Nejla supports clients with all aspects of disputes, advising on lawsuits, contracts, debt collection, asset protection and other related matters or processes. She has vast experience assisting domestic and foreign clients about how to strategically deal with conflicts or debts in Turkey, often advising on matters which involve high values, multiple parties, or complex liability issues. Nejla’s experience and expertise in many different areas mean she offers comprehensive and integrated advice to clients across a broad spectrum of potential legal disputes.
During her career, Nejla has advised and represented clients at all types and levels of dispute resolution forums in Turkey, including the Court of Cassation and Council of State. She assists clients with a broad range of issues in contentious contexts, including local and international contractual claims, consumer disputes, shareholder and partnership conflicts, debt collection and liquidations, malpractice allegations, as well as contentious aspects of joint ventures, construction, or real estate projects. Additionally, she supports her clients in disputes arising out of inheritance law, the partition of the inheritance agreements, and testamentary disposition.
Nejla is heavily involved in overseeing the firm’s dispute-focused staff, as well as coordinating large portfolios of lawsuits for major multinational clients.
Nejla also provides day-to-day corporate and consumer advice to clients operating in a range of industries, including real estate, retail, leasing, insurance, construction, energy, technology and telecommunications.
She qualified as a mediator in 2020, with particular expertise in employment, commercial, consumer, insurance, and construction law.
