Nlüfer focuses on corporate and commercial law, including corporate transactions, cross-border investments, business set-ups, mergers and acquisitions, as well as regulatory compliance. She assists foreign and domestic companies to deal with their day-to-day business operations in Turkey, as well as helps during significant investments and corporate transaction projects.
Nilüfer regularly assists in preparing and revising commercial agreements for clients, including corporate governance documents and a full spectrum of day-to-day commercial contracts. She researches and drafts memoranda for clients, supporting them to understand and navigate Turkish corporate and regulatory compliance issues, obligations or restrictions.
She supports a wide range of perspectives during early-stage financing deals, particularly foreign venture capital funds investing in the Turkish IT market. She has also assisted with due diligence for company acquisitions in the energy and manufacturing sectors.
Nilüfer assists clients to handle complicated regulatory compliance issues in Turkey. For instance, helping clients understand and navigate rules for technology and online operations, including internet broadcasting, payment processing systems, IT regulations, as well as privacy and personal data issues. Nilüfer is active on teams conducting data protection compliance projects for a range of local and international clients.
Nilüfer supports a broad range of domestic and international companies, most notably in the information technology and telecommunications, electronics, retail, and consumer product sectors.
