Burcu’s work includes all aspects of business law, specializing particularly in mergers and acquisitions, foreign investments, corporate law and employment law. Her broad experience in cross-border and domestic mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings allows her to advise clients on different legal aspects of transactions. She is also working closely with clients on compliance matters ranging from corporate governance, anti-corruption, business crimes, employment law to privacy and data protection.
Burcu assists clients active in a wide range of industries including, among others, telecommunications and information technologies, energy, retail, life sciences, manufacturing, real estate and construction.
Burcu has authored the Turkey aspects of certain well-known international publications and frequently publishes articles in professional journals as well as online legal resources.
Burcu acts as a mentor for the entrepreneurs and start-ups of Endeavor Turkey and G3 Entrepreneurship Forum. She also participates to the activities of the Company Affairs Working Group of the Turkish Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s Association (TUSIAD) and serves as a board member of Common Purpose Turkey.
