Ezgi advises clients on a full range of intellectual property issues. She specializes in advising clients on trademark, patent, industrial design, utility model, domain name, company/business names and manufacturer liability disputes. Ezgi advises many local and foreign clients, as well as major multinational organizations.
In addition to handling intellectual property, unfair competition and commercial litigation matters, Ezgi organizes and conducts raids for the seizure of counterfeit products as well as handles communication and settlement negotiations with counterfeiters. She also represents clients before the Turkish Patent Institute and in various types of disputes over the registration and use of domain names.
Ezgi’s work primarily includes trademark prosecution, strategy and enforcement. She regularly advises clients on all aspects of trademark and unfair competition law in order to establish, protect and enforce intellectual property rights both in Turkey and overseas.
Ezgi is a regular contributor to the World Intellectual Property Review and often publishes articles for professional associations and sector publications relating to counterfeiting and trademark matters. Ezgi has been a registered expert witness of the Istanbul Intellectual and Industrial Property Courts. In 2012, she attended the Munich Intellectual Property Summer Program organized by George Washington University and the Max Planck Institute.
