Gökçe advises clients on a full range of intellectual property issues and transactions, including trademarks, unfair competition, industrial designs, patents, copyrights and domain names.
She works mostly on trademark issues, including infringement and cancellation actions, as well as managing the trademark portfolios of large, multinational brands and corporations and often arranges seizure processes for counterfeit products. Gökçe has particular experience with trademark transactions before the Turkish Patent Institute, civil and criminal intellectual property litigation (including unfair competition matters), as well as international patent applications and licensing. Moreover, she has successfully litigated numerous complex trademark and industrial design infringement cases along with design cancellation actions for leading international companies.
Gökçe provides legal support to international and local clients on intellectual property issues, primarily in the food and beverage, pharmaceutical, tobacco, apparel and cosmetic industries. She also concentrates on assisting local investors during the patent licensing process.
